Tandoori Hot Pizza from Domino’s Review
Tandoori chicken, red onions, mushrooms, green and red peppers, jalapeño peppers.
The Tandoori Hot Pizza Review
Another weekend, another pizza! WE deserved it after a grim week. One day Ted was served up a Fray Bentos “all steak” tinned pie by his missus for dinner!
So we grabbed the phone and ordered a Domino’s Tandoori Hot, and as a twist we had a Double Decadence base which is like a cheese and herb pizza sandwich.
As you know we are fans of the hot stuff and this pizza delivered, now it wasn’t curry house standards, but it was pretty good. The red onions, mushrooms, green and red peppers were tasty and as expected. The jalapeño peppers added an added fire to the mix.
All in all a nice one, but the base didn’t really suit the toppings. so lesson learned on that.
That’s a hot thumbs up from The Pizza Lads
Mexican Fiesta Pizza from Domino’s Review
Domino’s tomato sauce, NEW Mexican Chilli chicken, red onions and green & red peppers, topped with a drizzle of sour cream and paprika sauce.
The Mexican Fiesta Pizza Review
The lads had made it to another weekend, fiesta time! We managed to slip out the missuses grasps and decided to celebrate with a lovely pizza from domino’s. Scanning the menu we noticed that the Mexican Fiesta was new and always up for the challenge, so we went for that one.
Now we like a bit of kick with our pizza and the Chilli chicken was perfect, a real taste sensation. The presentation was good with just the right variety of flavours with the onions and peppers, base was classic. We went for BBQ sauce as this always brings out the flavour of chicken. The drizzle sauces were a nice addition.
A top pizza we shall have again! A must excellent thumbs up from The Pizza Lads
The Meateor Pizza from Domino’s Review
A light portion of BBQ sauce topped with pork meatballs, ground beef, sausage, pepperoni, smoky bacon.
The Meateor Pizza Review
The lads had made it through another week, after endless grief during the 9 to 5 grind at work and the 5.30-11 earache at home, we thought we’d better have our Friday night treat pizza. So slipping out of our houses while the wives weren’t looking we visited our local Domino’s.
We thought we’d take pot luck so Ted closed his eyes and eventually managed to point to a pizza on the menu. A bowl of Fresh Rocket Leaves wasn’t going to satisfy, so Meateor it was and when our pizza arrived we looked well pleased.
We had gone for the classic crust which tasted fresh and the toppings were meaty good. A blowout of pork with a bit of beef, bill was taken with the pork meatballs, which were the best he’d tasted he said. The sausage and bacon were a pleasant surprise as well with the quality.
All was a splendid feast. Home now to face the music, perhaps we haven’t been missed?
A thumbs up from The Pizza Lads
Texas BBQ Pizza from Domino’s Review
Tangy BBQ sauce topped with smoky bacon, succulent roast chicken, red onions, green and red peppers
The Texas BBQ Pizza Review
The lads have had a testing bank holiday weekend, the wives have been moaning about jobs not being done, kids are bored! Arrgh..!
So we decided to cheer ourselves up with a visit to Domino’s and we plumped for the Texas BBQ. We decided to OD on the BBQ by having the BBQ stuffed crust at an extra two pound fifty.
The base was good and we had no complaints there and the chicken really did taste like it had been roasted and mixed with the tender bacon and succulent peppers. We agreed it was a real treat and a classic combo that really hit the spot.
The lads went home and magic was instantly over, still i am sure it won’t be long before our next visit.
A classic, thumbs up from The Pizza Lads
Ardente Pizza from Dominos Review
Ventricina Salami, Jalapeños & Pepper Pearls for a hot & sweet kick. Served with our exclusive chilli oil / large slice / Italian style base.
The Ardente Pizza Review
A nice looking looking pizza, the cheese was a good appealing toasty shade and the with just a few toppings the taste of the crispy cooked salami wasn’t lost in a pile of cheap toppings for those who like quantity over quality. The sauce was up to domino’s usual competent standards and the peppers and chillies really gave it an exotic boost
Another winner The Pizza Lads agreed…
